Welcome to the Bedfordshire, Luton and Milton Keynes Stoma Prescription Service

Welcome to the Bedfordshire, Luton and Milton Keynes Stoma Prescription Service (BLMK SPS).  This is a new NHS service that is responsible for issuing prescriptions for stoma products for people living in the areas covered by the Bedfordshire, Luton and Milton Keynes Integrated Care Board.  Stoma products include all stoma bags/pouches and associated additional products (for example, barrier spray, and adhesive remover).

The Bedfordshire, Luton and Milton Keynes Stoma Prescription Service has been set up to enhance the care that people using stoma products receive. Having your stoma prescriptions provided by a centralised service, run by a team of specialist stoma nurses, means that you will be able to access the right clinical support when you need to. Your prescriptions will be authorised by our specialist stoma nurses, who will be able to ensure that you are ordering and using the best products for your particular needs.

If you feel that you need the advice and support of a stoma nurse at your local hospital, you will be still able to access your current stoma nurse.
